Capcom is probably one of the most consistent companies when it comes to releasing artbooks for their titles. Even newer, western centric titles like Lost Planet and Dead Rising have seen their share of artbook releases. Rockman (Mega Man in the US) alone has had its fair share of artbook releases, including a cameo in Capcom Design Works, and an artbook dedicated to the Rockman Zero series.
To fill in the blanks and in honor of the 20th anniversary of the blue bomber, Capcom released R20th. The book covers sketches, promotional art, box art, and even concept art for every Rockman and Rockman X title up to Rockman X8.
The book is big, and its comprehensive. It carries a pretty hefty price tag as well, but the amount of material inside makes it well worth it for fans of the series, and artbook collectors alike. This might be one of my favorite artbooks dedicated to a single game series, second only to the Front Mission World Historica.

Ahh, yay! I’ve been a big fan of the Mega Man series for as long as I’ve been playing video games. I already have the Rockman Zero art book, and this on is on its way (sometime within… the next month). I’m really looking forward to it!
Aw dang! I’ve been dying to have rockman x8 artbook! Know any place to buy it? If ya could, could you show X, Zero n Axl? puh-lease…?? I’m a big fan of this game. XD
