Late yesterday, Sony let loose the new 1.90 update for the Playstation 3 firmware. I rarely care about firmware updates on any system I own; I am, however, a fan of visual aesthetic. This is possibly why I was ecstatic to find that the newest firmware update finally allows users to use any image on their Playstation 3 as wallpaper.
Those who are not particularly artistically inclined, but still looking for some excellent wallpaper to use on their PS3 should head here and here.
You might end up with something that looks really good.
Looks like the PSN Store now also has several wallpapers downloadable for free, including Heavenly Sword, Resident Evil 5 and a few others. Really awesome stuff!
